HONORABLE MENTION
NO RETURN & NO REFUND POLICY
At Honorable Mention, every fragrance is carefully crafted, inspected, packaged, and prepared for shipment with quality, safety, and hygiene in mind.
Because fragrance is a personal-use product, all sales are final unless otherwise required by applicable law or specifically stated in this policy.
24-HOUR CANCELLATION WINDOW
Customers have 24 hours from the time of purchase to request cancellation of an order.
After the 24-hour cancellation window has passed, the order is considered final and may enter our production and fulfillment process.
Once this window has closed, orders cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, changed, or refunded because of scent preference, ordering mistakes, or a change of mind.
Submitting a cancellation request within 24 hours does not guarantee cancellation if the order has already been fulfilled or transferred to the shipping carrier.
WHY FRAGRANCES ARE NON-RETURNABLE
Fragrance is a personal-use cosmetic product. Once a fragrance has been opened, sprayed, handled, or otherwise removed from its original condition, Honorable Mention cannot verify that it has remained unused, uncontaminated, or suitable for resale.
For the hygiene and safety of our customers, opened or used fragrance products cannot be restocked or resold.
Fragrance is highly subjective. A scent may smell or perform differently depending on factors including:
• Individual scent preference
• Skin chemistry
• Application method
• Environment and climate
• Storage conditions
• Personal expectations and scent perception
Dissatisfaction with the way a fragrance smells, develops, projects, or performs for an individual customer does not qualify the product for a return, exchange, replacement, or refund.
We strongly encourage customers to review fragrance descriptions, notes, concentrations, and available sample options before purchasing a full-size fragrance.
Fragrance products containing alcohol may also be classified as flammable or hazardous materials for transportation purposes and are subject to carrier shipping restrictions, further limiting our ability to accept returns.
DAMAGED, LEAKING, INCORRECT OR DEFECTIVE ORDERS
If your order arrives damaged, leaking, incorrect, or with a non-functioning atomizer, please contact Honorable Mention within 48 hours of confirmed delivery at:
Claims submitted outside of this 48-hour reporting period may not be eligible for assistance unless otherwise required by applicable law.
To review your claim, we may request:
• Your order number
• Clear photographs of the product
• Clear photographs of the shipping package and materials
• Photographs showing any leaking, breakage, or visible damage
• Clear video showing an atomizer or other functional issue
Please retain the product and all original packaging while your claim is being reviewed.
Failure to provide reasonably requested documentation may prevent Honorable Mention from verifying the issue and may result in the claim being denied.
RESOLUTION OF VERIFIED ISSUES
When an eligible issue is verified, Honorable Mention will determine the appropriate resolution based on the circumstances of the claim and applicable law.
Depending on the situation, a resolution may include a:
Replacement
Store credit
Partial refund
Full refund
Other appropriate accommodation
A refund is not automatically guaranteed simply because a claim has been submitted.
Honorable Mention may require the affected product to be returned before a replacement, refund, credit, or other resolution is issued.
If a return is required, instructions will be provided directly by Honorable Mention. Failure to return a requested product may affect eligibility for a replacement, refund, or other assistance.
SECONDHAND & THIRD-PARTY PURCHASES
Honorable Mention's replacement, refund, and product assistance policies apply only to products purchased directly from Honorable Mention or an authorized retailer.
Products purchased through resale groups, marketplaces, secondhand transactions, unauthorized third-party sellers, or private individuals are not eligible for refunds, replacements, exchanges, or store credit from Honorable Mention.
We may still provide general product or troubleshooting assistance whenever reasonably possible.
DAMAGE AFTER DELIVERY
Honorable Mention is not responsible for damage occurring after successful delivery that results from circumstances outside of our control, including:
• Improper handling
• Dropping or breaking bottles
• Improper storage
• Excessive heat or direct sunlight
• Misuse of the product
• Unauthorized modification
• Normal cosmetic wear to bottles, labels, caps, boxes, or packaging
Customers should store fragrances in a cool, dry environment away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES
A customer's dislike of a fragrance, change of mind, scent preference, or dissatisfaction based solely on subjective fragrance perception does not override this policy.
Customers experiencing a legitimate problem with an order are encouraged to contact info@honorablemention.us first so the issue can be reviewed and addressed.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer protection law.
EU CUSTOMERS
STATUTORY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Customers located in the European Union may have a statutory right to withdraw from an eligible distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to applicable exceptions under EU and local consumer protection laws.
Certain sealed goods may be exempt from the right of withdrawal when they are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and have been unsealed after delivery, where the applicable legal requirements for that exemption are satisfied.

Honorable Mention will provide return instructions for eligible products.
Unless otherwise required by law, customers exercising a change-of-mind statutory withdrawal may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
Any refund required under applicable law will be processed according to the legally required timeframe and returned using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed upon.
Nothing in Honorable Mention's No Return & No Refund Policy is intended to restrict statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or waived.
FINAL SALE ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By completing a purchase from Honorable Mention, the customer acknowledges that they have reviewed and agreed to this policy, including the 24-hour cancellation period, final-sale terms, 48-hour damage reporting period, and applicable international consumer rights.
